Failed to boot due to fstab error in Manjaro

 

Sometimes accidentally inserting the wrong line in fstab can make Manjaro fail to boot. What's the solution?

The easiest solution is use a bootable Manjaro flash drive.

• Boot from Manjaro bootable flashdisk
• Open your system drive and go to "/.etc"  directory
• Right click and open as root
• Open and edit fstab properly
• Save
• Restart and boot from hard drive

Manjaro should be able to boot normally.
